Cam Caddie Lockout Kit - Scorpion EX Camera Stabilizer Accessory Combo

The Lockout Kit creates a solid platform for heavier cameras and configurations. The Lockout Kit eliminates the dampening effect which is designed into the Scorpion and Scorpion EX. This is achieved by connecting the camera’s built in flash shoe to the bottom of the Scorpion’s handle. This eliminates the dampening action, allowing you to attach heavier accessories for an endless variety of configurations. Primarily designed to work with DSLR and Mirrorless cameras, the Lockout Kit also works with many video cameras.

ELIMINATE THE DAMPENING EFFECT

When using heavier camera configurations, we recommend using the Lockout Kit to eliminate the natural dampening effect of the Scorpion.

In this configuration, we have used the Lockout Kit, (1) Accessory Shoe and (1) Accessory Wing to mount (1) microphone and (1) field monitor. The Patented design displaces the weight of your gear by separating your hand from directly holding the camera body.

In this setup, the Lockout Kit is being used to support the additional weight of the 3 LED Lights. The Lockout Kit will eliminate any flex with heavier configurations.
