The Scorpion EX displaces the weight of your gear by separating your hand from directly holding the camera body. When holding the Scorpion EX and not the camera, motion and movement is naturally dampened. The Scorpion EX can facilitate moves that look like a professional camera stabilizer or jib arm.
Use Cage Mode and get a two-handed grip for locked on handheld shots. This unique configuration allows you to keep your right hand on the camera controls and use your left hand to help stabilize and articulate the camera movements.

United StatesI wasn't sure I would like the scorpion but after setting it up I am blown away. This totally changes the camera, it so easy to comfortably hold that camera and I don't fell like I'm holding an ice cube that's about to slip out of my hands. The Scorpion drastically improves the stability of my video. And when I track a moving subject its so much easier. This kit has tons of accessories to mount things like Mics and LED lights. Its like Lego for cameras. I absolutely love it.
