The VD-SG1 is a compact on camera microphone designed to enhance the audio quality of your videos. It uses a high-quality cardioid condenser microphone capsule to produce crystal clear audio recordings with a wide range of cameras. The VD-SG1 is a directional microphone that reduces distracting peripheral sounds and focuses on the audio in front of the camera.
The VD-SG1 body is made from Aluminum then anodized flat black which helps provide a high level of RF (Radio Frequency) rejection. The Plug & Play design eliminates the need for batteries or switches so it’s always ready for action! The VD-SG1 includes a Shock Mount that attaches to the cameras standard flash shoe mount. The Shock Mount reduces unwanted vibration and noise that can be caused by simple camera movements and use of the cameras controls. Also included is the synthetic furry wind shield with foam inner cell, designed for use outdoors where wind and environmental noise can inhibit recordings.
With both TRS and TRRS output cables included the VD-SG1 can be used on Smartphones, Cameras, PCs, and other audio/video recording devices. The rugged design will insure reliable trouble-free performance for many years. The Plug & Play design eliminates the need for batteries or switches so it’s always ready for action!
